購買の動機が違うオンラインショップ
E-コマースだとか、オンライン・ショッピング・モール
とかは、年末商戦などでは、話題になる。しかし、いくら
ADSLだのなんだのとインターネットが広まり、ネット上で
買い物ができるにも関わらず、大きなデパートや、映画館
までそろっているショッピング・モールには、土日になると、
沢山の人だかりができている。何が違うのだろうか？何が、
人を”リアル”なショッピングをさせているのだろうか？
オンラインショッピングで買い物をする傾向を見ていると、
”買うものがはっきりしている”ということがある。例えば、
本やCDの場合、その作家やミュージシャンのファンで、内容を
確認するまでもなく買うような場合は、ともかく早く確実に
入手したいという動機でネットで申し込むということがある。
また、コンサートなどのチケットも、コンサートそのものは、
当日まで観ることはできないのだから、チケットは、オン
ラインで購入しようが、店頭で購入しようがなんら変わりは
ない。
だからこそ、最近のオンラインショップにハマッテイル人の
動きは、どこの店で買うかなんてのは、何の関係もなく、どこが
安いか、送料はサービスなのかといった、価格だけの比較に
なってきている。確かに、一瞬で価格の比較ができるのは、
ITならではの世界ではある。
逆に、”リアル”な店での買い物を見てみると、”彼氏の
誕生日には、何がいいかなぁ～”というように、買うものが明確
に定まっていない場合が多いのではないだろうか？ ネクタイ、
本、CD、車の本、いやいや、財布にしょうか？ それとも、ペア
のセーターでも... など、いろいろな選択肢の中から、お店を
めぐり、あれこれ想像して歩きながら買い物をする状態である。
（もっとも、新聞の折込広告で、特売の文字に釣られて走ること
もあるだろうが。（笑））
このような買い物の場合は、ネットでは、ちょっとやりにくい。
ギフトショップとかもあるけど、それは、いかにもギフトって
ものしかないし、また、その分類も良く分からず、これという
ものにめぐり合わない可能性が高い。しかし、実際のデパートや
商店街などでは、ぐるぐる回っていると、”おや？”というものや、
”これだ！”というものにめぐり合うこともある。
前回のメルマガでも書いたが、リアルの場合には、実際にお金
を払って買うまでの楽しみの時間があるのである。さらに、
”新しい色のコートが出てる！”とか、”あれ？ ここ、お店が
変わった”とか、あるいは、”なんだろう？ この店、すごい列が
できてるけど...”といった、いろいろな別のことも見えてきたり
する。
筆者の場合、やはり、自分の手にとって見て、あれこれと考え
たり、いろんな店を見て回って、ぜんぜん別のことを発見できたり
するので、リアルな買い物が好きである。ただ、それによる弊害
（余計なものを買ってしまう）は、少々、痛いものがある（笑）。
