名前が呼べない？？？
今回はちょっと予定を変更して(もっとも、前回は、多忙でメル
マガ自体、発行できていなかったので予定もなにもないのだが...苦笑)、
個人情報保護法に関連する興味ある記事があったので、それについて
考えてみたい。もし、この記事に書かれている事を真剣に考えると、
この4月以降、お店や、公共の場で、お客さんの名前を呼ぶことが
できなくなるかもしれないのだ。
気になった記事は、4/8に読売新聞のホームページに掲載されて
いたものだ。その記事によると、個人情報保護法の施行により、
”誰がどの科で受診しているのか、あるいは、誰が入院しているかは、
個人情報の対象ということで、個人名を呼んだり、病室にネーム
プレートを掲げることを止めた”病院が出てきているとのことだった。
さらに、一部の病院では、患者本人の了解を得なければ、家族で
あっても一切病状などを説明しないとか、お見舞いに来た人から
病室を訪ねられても、本人の了解なしには、回答しないという対応を
するところまで出てきている。
個人情報保護法がどうこうというよりも、そもそも通常の生活
範囲で考えられる規範として考えるべきだろうし、なによりも、
医療機関であれば、患者にとって何がいのか？を考えた上で具体的に
どうするのかを考えるべきである。
ところが、先に挙げたような病院は、個人情報保護法を盾にして
訴えられたら困るというのが本音らしい。これでは、そもそも医療
機関としての基本がおかしくなっていると思われても仕方ないのでは
ないだろうか？
しかし、このようなことが記事となって、過敏に反応する他の業界の
人たちが出てこないか気がかりである。今の銀行などのように、店に
入ると番号札を取って、店内では、その番号でしか呼ばれない八百屋
とか、商品購入後のユーザ登録もできないので、番号を割り振られて、
その番号でしか対応してもらえない車のディラーといったことになり
かねない。飲み屋では、ボトルキープに名前でなく、番号が振られて、
”あ～ら、２６番さん。このところ、なかなかお店にこなかたじゃ
ないの～”なんてお店のママに言われても、面白くもなんともない。
これじゃ、お得意様もへったくれもあったものじゃない。迷子の呼び
出しなどは、どうすればいいのだろうか？
事業者が集めた個人情報を無断で売買されたり、他の目的に流用
されるのは、確かに大きな問題ではあるが、だからといって、お店で
名前を呼ばれるのを嫌がる人や、よく行くお店で名前で呼んでもらう
のを嫌がる人はいるのだろうか？それを自分のプライベートの情報を
勝手に使われたと怒る人がいるのだろうか？
なんともおかしな世の中になりつつある..
なお、大半の病院では、個人情報保護法では、個人情報の利用目的
を明示していくとなっているだけなので、日本医師会などが配布した
ポスターを掲示することで対処しているということなので、ご安心を。
