即効性のノウハウは、使い方を間違うと大怪我をする
最近、情報商材が大流行だ。ノウハウをまとめて本や電子ファイルで
販売するというビジネスである。特に、インターネットビジネスでの
ノウハウの販売は多くて、ホームページのアクセスを上げる方法、
アフェリエイトで儲ける方法、Yahoo!オークションで儲ける方法など、
実にいろいろなノウハウが販売されている。
確かに、それらのノウハウを使って、アクセスを上げたり、オーク
ションで儲けることはできるだろう。しかし、問題は、その先である。
今回は、このようなノウハウを使う場合の注意点について書いてみたい。
ホームページのアクセスを上げる方法や、検索エンジンでトップに
表示される方法などは、いくらでもある。そして、それらをビジネスに
している人たちもいて、確かに、即効性があって、早いものだと
１週間とかで効果が出てくる。
そして、それを諸手を上げて喜ぶ人たちもいるが、こういうノウハウ
の恐ろしいところは、あくまでも”ツール”であるということである。
つまり、道具は、どういう”動機”で使うか？が大きな問題であり、
極端な話をすると、ナイフを果物を切るのに使うのか、人を危めるのに
使うのかという問題なのだ。
アクセスが劇的に増えて、喜んでいると、あっという間にもとの
アクセス、いや、クレームや嫌がらせが増えたり、以前よりも悲惨な
状況へ追い込まれる可能性もあるのだ。
アクセスすることで、何を求めるのか、アクセスしてくれた人たちに
何を提供できるのかをしっかりと作っておかないと、”次へつなげる”
ことができなくなる。
実際にあった話だが、あるケーキショップが、クリスマスシーズンに、
本物のトナカイを連れてきて一緒に写真を撮るというイベントを行った。
当日は、予想以上のお客が集まり、多くの人たちに喜んでもらえて、
店長は大満足。そして、その翌日.... 以前と同じ閑散とした店に
戻ってしまった。つまり、来てくれたお客さんを次につなげる工夫を
していなかったからだ。
さて、これを笑い飛ばせるだろうか？ 企業のインターネットの
使い方を見ていると、これと同じようなことをしているところが
あまりにも多い。インターネットは特別な世界ではない。インター
ネットの先にお客がいることを意識して、ノウハウを利用しないと、
以前より悪い状態になることがあるのだ。
